RentPrices is an independent Irish service run by Avlas Digital, a sole trader. We are not the Residential Tenancies Board and have no connection to it.

Where the numbers come from

• RTB Rent Register: the public register of rents for registered tenancies by local electoral area, published by the RTB since 1 March 2026. Each result carries the register reference so anyone can repeat the search on rtb.ie.
• CSO Consumer Price Index, all items: the inflation series the RTB calculator uses. Our calculation matches it to the cent; we test it against the official calculator.
• SEAI National BER Register: the rating and floor area for an Eircode, so the register search has the inputs the law defines.
• Boundaries: local electoral areas (Tailte Éireann, 2019) and electoral divisions (CSO, 2022), Creative Commons Attribution.

What we do

We fill in the RTB’s own notice forms with your details and the register data, choose and explain three comparable tenancies, work out the rent limit and the deadlines, and remind you before each one. You review, sign and serve. If a figure is wrong on our side, we fix it or refund.

What we do not do

We do not give legal advice, do not serve notices for you, do not send anything to the RTB, and do not decide disputes. Rules change; check rtb.ie for the current position.
